There are lots of reasons to consider hosting an AdSense website on a free host.

For example, free hosts have a free domain option, which is never a clean .com domain, but might not be so bad. Savings: ~$10.

Then there is the actual hosting fee, which is usually charged monthly. That is a coincidence because AdSense happens to pay you your earnings monthly as well. Meaning that AdSense earnings take out a chunk.

Now don't get me wrong, if you run a big website, or one that is rapidly growing, you need paid hosting.

However if you're working with a small site, free hosting saves you anywhere between $5 to $20 a month.

The great thing is most free hosting services have the option of switching over to an improved paid service if your website starts growing so much that you can afford it.

As a quick rule of thumb, don't let hosting fees exceed more than 10% of your AdSense earnings. If you already have a hosting service for a bigger site, subdomain it. Otherwise switch over a free hosting service.

Just make sure, and this is very important, that the hosting service is ad free. Your AdSense earnings will be slaugthered if the page already has other ads, not to mention it's against the TOS.
